SR-5.5VSD
The silent cabinet and 100L pressure vessel. The PLC is very simple and easy to use and is part of the drive unit. Being a 220V inverter driven unit, it is perfect for a 220V site and only requires a standard 15 Amp to 20 Amp supply. During testing it never exceeded 12,8 Amp draw on a 1,5mm extension cable at 8 bar pressure. The soft-start of the VSD ensures no sudden load on the 220V system ensuring stability of the electrical supply system.
SR-7.5VSD
The bigger brother to the SR-5.5VSD also runs at 220V but with a 7,5HP 220V variable speed drive system and is mated to a 200L tank. It also has the upgraded touch-screen PLC system that you are already familiar with on the G2 models. As with the SR-5.5VSD model, the soft start system is easy on the 220V electrical supply, and a standard 25Amp breaker is way more than what is needed to run this variant up to full RPM and pressure.

SOME CLIENTS NEED A SOLUTION TO A PROBLEM, THE SR ECO SERIES WAS DESIGNED AS A “NOTHING UNNECESSARY” SCREW AIR COMPRESSOR.
THIS RANGE EXTENDS FROM 10HP RIGHT UP TO 350HP. 10HP TO 60HP UTILISE A STANDARD PLC SYSTEM THAT OFFERS EASY OPERATION AND COMPREHENSIVE PROTECTION.
IP23 motors are standard in a direct-drive fixed speed configuration. The bulk of the cost savings are derived from the air-end and motor structure, as well as the standard LCD PLC used in models up to 60hp fixed speed. Engineered simplicity and reliability are what you get from the SR ECO Series.
Features
- Lower production costs: The design, and thus manufacturing process have been greatly simplified, meaning lower production costs.
- Advanced PLC: Models from 75hp up utilise a more advanced touch-screen PLC system depending on the model being fixed or variable speed, single or 2 stage.
- High-Performance Air-End: Models from 75HP up use the same air end structure as the SR Premium models, however, motor efficiency is only offered at an IE1 level.
- PMM Motor Structure: Variable Speed models come standard with Permanent Magnetic IP54 motor structure across the range.
- Customer Focussed Cabinet Structure: SR Economy Series screw compressors still have the benefits of a customer focussed cabinet structure allowing for quick and easy servicing.
- Service Spares: All parts and spares are well priced and offer cost savings benefits to solutions focussed clients.
- Built to Last: Although designed as a cost effective compressed air solution, durability is not compromised, SR Eco series models can work in the same harsh environments as the SR Premium models and provide years of stable service. Model ranges include fixed and variable speed, single and two-stage variable speed and tank mounted package units up to 30hp.

CABINET
European design and maintenance focused configuration for quick servicing and less downtime. This allows for reduced maintenance costs and less production loss, SCREW COMPRESSORS contributing to a very low total cost of ownership.
VISUAL WARNING SYSTEM
VWS is designed to provide a visual indication of the machine’s operating status in noisy environments. This system uses industrial grade LED strip lights to show the current status of the machine through various colours. The system is programmed to display various colours for normal, fault, service and emergency operational status (Not available in all markets.) .
DIRECTLY DRIVEN MOTOR STRUCTURE
This allows for direct transfer of energy to the air-end master rotor, increasing efficiency and reducing vibration. This system is used from 10hp up to 50hp in an 8 or 10 bar pressure output. Larger machines use a directly-coupled transfer system. Belt drive configuration is available on request.
ELECTRIC MOTOR
Electrical efficiency and performance stability are key points in the design of the DB range of screw compressors, as is motor protection. All DB screws feature full PLC motor protection which covers low/high voltage, high current, high temperature, open phase, reverse phase and overload situations.
